Items in stock are available for immediate pick up or delivery. Our warehouse is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday for pick ups. Special orders depend a great deal upon the manufacturer. If items are in stock at the manufacturer you should have them in 2-6 weeks. Special order upholstery is custom made for you and usually ships in approximately 4-8 weeks from the day the order is placed. We will always do everything we can to ensure a timely delivery; however, we can only estimate and not guarantee delivery times. When it comes to delivery times, every dealer in the nation is at the mercy of the manufacturer. We offer local and nationwide delivery.

We will contact you when your furniture arrives to setup delivery. We offer free pick up at our warehouse. Our warehouse is closed every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday.

Please call us at least 24 hours in advance for your furniture to be ready for you. Because we place orders immediately to insure the quickest delivery possible, it is difficult to make changes or cancel an order. Once an order is in production at the factory, the manufacturer does not allow a cancellation or change. We do ship nationwide. We have a $1500 minimum to place an order for out of State delivery. It takes approximately 8-12 weeks to receive your order. Please call or email us for a quote.

Payment Options

We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also offer several financing options. Please contact the store for more information. A 50% deposit is required to place an order. The balance is due when we schedule your delivery. All merchandise must be paid in full prior to delivery.


Delivery Policy

We offer local delivery and will contact you immediately once your furniture has arrived to set up delivery. Please contact us for the delivery rate for your area. Upon notification that your merchandise has arrived, delivery must be made within 30 days. After 30 days, if you merchandise has not been delivered, you must pay any remaining balance plus a monthly storage fee of $100 or a maximum of 10% of the total sale, including sales tax. Or, we will gladly deliver your merchandise to the storage facility of your choice.


Out of State Deliveries

For all deliveries out of the State of Virginia the customer must note any damage on the bill of Lading at the time delivery, and refuse that item, and that item only. You should keep rest of your order. Upon notification we will make a plan with you to either replace or restore your item/s up to new furniture factory standards. If you keep the item after the delivery company leaves your address it may cost an additional in shipping to replace or restore your item/s. Shipping handmade, luxury furniture is a delicate process, and from time to time even the world’s best delivery agents will have some transit damage. Even on our own trucks. The industry average for damage or defect for this kind of furniture delivered on a nationwide basis is around 11%. Our experience is much less, but If you discover damage or defect do not worry, we will get it “right” for you.


Delivery Day

Please be prepared delivery day. It is the customer’s responsibility to clear the area of existing furniture and accessories prior to delivery. This will ensure a more timely and efficient delivery. If the customer needs assistance moving existing furniture we must know in advance to allow additional time. There will be an additional fee for this service. The customer is responsible for measurements of doorways, hallways, and stairs at the time they select their furniture to be sure it fits into the home. As professionals, we do our very best to take every care possible when delivering furniture to your home.

For the safety of our delivery personnel and your furniture, we ask that you ensure all walkways and entrances are clear prior to delivery. Our delivery staff has the obligation to postpone delivery due to unsafe conditions based on their judgement. As you are aware, many home designs do not take into account the difficulty of furniture delivery.

On a rare occasion, if a piece of furniture is a tight fit, the delivery department may ask you to approve our attempt to fit your furniture and sign a waiver. With that understanding, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any damages resulting from deliveries made to locations not equipped to accept such items. This includes narrow doorways, hallways and entryways. We trust you will understand and appreciate these conditions.

Inspection of Furniture / Damaged Items

The customer is responsible at the time of delivery to inspect each item. If damage is evident, please make note of it on the paperwork. Please contact our store to determine how to resolve the issue. To expedite the service process, it is helpful to email pictures of the damage to so we can forward this information to our factory representative to determine the need for repair or replacement.

Customer Pick Up

We allow customer pickup at our warehouse located at the rear of our store. 24 HOUR notice is required for ALL pickups. Please come prepared with the materials needed to load your purchase safely into your vehicle. Bring blankets and rope as we do not supply either of these items. Our service department will assist you in loading your purchase; however we are not permitted to tie down your goods. If, at your request, we assist you in loading your furniture, we cannot be held liable for any damage incurred to your vehicle.


Our Warranty

All our merchandise comes with the factory warranty. Most factories have a 1 year warranty against factory defects, where they will either repair or replace the item back to factory standards to be determined at their discretion. We make no additional warranties in addition to the factory warranty. We do have additional protection plans at an additional cost that will cover the most repairs on your merchandise. Please inquire with us at the store about this additional protection plan product. Most products sold on the North Carolina Furniture & Mattress website and in the store are intended for residental/private use. Use in a commercial setting is not considered to be household usage and may not be covered by the manufacturer warranty. See manufacturer's warranty for coverage information. In stock items, Discontinued items and Online Pricing

North Carolina Furniture and Mattress has thousands of items on our website, and from time to time we may display an item on our website that is out of stock, discontinued, or priced incorrectly. If this happens we reserve the right to cancel any online sale and give the customer back all their money with no recourse from the customer. And the customer agrees that North Carolina Furniture will not owe the customer any additional payment for such an error on the North Carolina Furniture & Mattress website.


By submitting any order through our website you agree to the terms and conditions set forth above. Additionally if you dispute any payment and North Carolina Furniture & Mattress challenges the disputes and wins the dispute, you agree to pay for all cost and attorneys fees associated with that dispute.

By purchasing through our website you (the customer) waives all rights to a trial by jury and agree to use and abide by arbitration, pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. We will select a certified neutral arbitrator closest to the point of delivery. The arbitrator will be picked by North Carolina Furniture & Mattress.

Additionally, if you write a review on any website that is not accurate and it damages North Carolina Furniture & Mattress you agree to pay for all damages you caused by writing said review.
